Here is an other nugget from the past french (g)oldies. An other rare library opus to find today, produced by Jean-Claude Pierric and arranged by Christian Piget. A weird mix of country-fuzzy sounds & instinctive pop drums. A real taste of oddities and 70’s nostalgia with title like « moogy’s », wich includes a melancholic moog synthesizer line, for sure, used in a forgotten movie. Just listen to « moriccone for you », to understand that it’s not far away from François de Roubaix sounds investigation’s work ! Cool for fun, and, fun for cool…

About the record ? This is GREAT !!!! Pretty nice electronic funk/jerk/easy/jazz , 7 tracks oneach sides. Most of the tracks are by the great JC Pierric .
By the way, The Man honored Agent Double-O-Soul leaving him some notes on his post about the legendary Godchild lp ! Go and take a look !
Well people it's time for me to say : enjoy ! ! !

With new, a disc full with pleasant surprised! The beaches are diversified, one passes from one atmosphere to the other. One starts already extremely with " Couic Ah!" (completely removed from rim) and " blue Synthetizer ", synthé which a little badly aged, but which is well a primesautier... My preferred is " First blossoming ": very easy listening, resting, and with this small dry guitar, the piece becomes a little timeless. One would believe a " false-truth " composed by Air. " At Sioux " and " blood for blood " have small side Dennis Farnon (type-setter of tele American of the years seventy if you know), with the felted atmosphere. But good, comparison is not reason that remains JC Pierric/F. Rolland. The sound recording on " cosmic Jarretelle " was a little chiche with the battery, it is a little remote, but the melody is full with freshness, and there is a good small duel left piano acoustique(à) and electric piano (on the right). I do not know why, the sound of synthé of " the archipelago ", by free association, evokes me Cl Francois, a bulb with the hand... It is felt that the musicians have fun à.fond during the recordings. In any case, all these pieces (with a super sound clean and true stereophony) put good mood, that joyeusement gives me desire of gambader in the city while smiling and to offer a pink to the first beggar... Ah yes, still a small thing: the titles are too signal, I believe that all the horses will be leaving for this tiercé-quarté-quarté. Mikaël Andréjuk
